Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the conclusion of a contract under which the Yandex Taxi Moscow fleet received 5,000 new Moskvich 3 crossovers.

“ It is important that Moskvich is already participating in the development of urban passenger transport. Contracts with a total capacity of 5,000 vehicles have been concluded with Yandex Taxi, of which 2,000 are electric vehicles. This is one of the largest contracts in the world for the supply of taxis and carsharing ,” said Sergei Sobyanin during the signing of the agreement.
Sergei Sobyanin also recalled that Moskvich plans to assemble 50,000 crossovers this year, and already 100,000 in 2024. But the most important thing, according to Sobyanin, is the start of car localization this year.
