Motorola hints at the imminent release of a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 chip
General manager of the mobile division of Lenovo China Chen Jing (Chen Jing) posted on the social network Weibo a photo of the packaging of the new Motorola smartphone, announcing the preparation of the flagship device.
Unfortunately, Chen Jing did not go into details about the device. It was only noted that the presentation of the novelty will take place in the near future – most likely, in the first quarter of the coming year.
It is known that the smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It combines eight processing cores (up to 2.84 GHz), a high-performance graphics accelerator Adreno 660 and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with data transfer rates up to 7.5 Gb / s.
Lenovo manager added that the new Motorola will delight users with many interesting features. Of course, there will be an advanced multi-module camera.
It is possible that the veil of secrecy over the device will be slightly opened during the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021. This event will be held from 11 to 14 January in a fully digital format.
