Motorola has officially unveiled a new mid-range smartphone Motorola Moto G9 in India. It entered the market to replace the budget model Moto G8, announced in March this year.
The Motorola G9 has a 6.5-inch HD + LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top that houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The main camera of the smartphone is based on three modules, including a 48-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro module, and a 2-megapixel sensor for obtaining scene depth data.
The smartphone is based on an eight-core Snapdragon 662 processor with a clock speed of up to 2 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X11 LTE modem. Onboard the device has 4 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB, and a slot for microSD cards.
The device’s 5000 mAh battery supports 20W fast charging technology. The Moto G9’s specs also include a standard 3.5mm audio jack for headphones and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
The smartphone comes preinstalled with the Android 10 operating system. The cost of the device is 11,499 Indian rupees ($ 154).
