Motorola unveils One 5G smartphone for less than $ 500

Earlier this year, Motorola pledged to launch a fifth-generation cell phone for up to $ 500. This smartphone is the One 5G announced today. The device is technically the company’s second mid-range smartphone with 5G support. Recall that the first was the Moto G 5G Plus, presented this summer.

Overall, the smartphone is in line with what most other mid-range devices offer. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The built-in storage capacity is 128 GB expandable via microSD cards. The smartphone boasts a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones and an NFC module. The device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD + -display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, in the upper left corner of which there are two front-facing camera lenses in separate cutouts. The smartphone’s battery capacity is 4000 mAh.

The main camera of Motorola One 5G is represented by four sensors. The main one boasts a resolution of 48 megapixels. It is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera surrounded by a ring flash. The fingerprint scanner is located in the “Power Touch” button, which can be assigned quick access to various functions of the operating system. The disadvantages include the lack of wireless charging and moisture protection.

The exact date of the start of sales of the device is still unknown, as well as its price, which is known only that it will be below $ 500.
