MTS is ready to make various decisions
MTS confirmed that the operator is discussing with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation the issue of paid distribution by subscribers of mobile Internet in tariffs from their device.
“We are communicating with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, we have already had a meeting with the deputy head of the service, Pyotr Ivanov, and we discussed the problem,” said MTS Vice President for Interaction with Government Authorities Andrei Rego.
MTS customers complain about the paid distribution of the Internet from devices.
The operator is ready to discuss different approaches and principles for the formation of tariff proposals, taking into account the distribution of the Internet from the device. Following the discussion of the issue with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, MTS is ready to make various decisions: in particular, to start communicating more detailed information to customers and make individual offers.
Earlier, the Federal Antimonopoly Service stated that it was studying complaints from subscribers of mobile operators about the introduction by operators of fees for distributing the Internet from smartphones.
Today, Beeline, MTS, Tele2 and MegaFon charge money for distributing the Internet in some packages.
