Honor is also expected to announce a flagship based on the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform in July.
After splitting from the former parent brand Huawei in November 2020, Honor launched two phones in China this year: the Honor V40 and the Honor V40 Luxury Light Edition. The now unknown Honor phone with model number KOZ-AL00 has been certified by Chinese regulators TENAA and 3C, which revealed the appearance and some characteristics of the device.
Mysterious smartphone Honor showed on the first images
The Honor KOZ-AL00 phone has a body with dimensions of 163.93 x 75.73 x 8.95 mm, as well as a 6.5-inch display of unknown resolution. The phone runs on Android 10 operating system from a 4900 mAh battery.
The description of Honor KOZ-AL00 in the TENAA and 3C databases showed that this phone does not support 5th generation mobile networks. Presumably, this is a budget smartphone that has no market name yet.
The smartphone will receive a teardrop notch for the front camera, as well as a square block of the main camera, which houses three image sensors and an LED flash. On the right side of the smartphone are the volume rocker and the power key. The device does not have a fingerprint scanner. After receiving the required certifications, the Honor KOZ-AL00 phone is expected to be officially unveiled in China soon.
Honor is also expected to announce a flagship based on the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform in July. It is rumored that this device may be called the Honor Magic 3. The company has also admitted that it is running a foldable phone called the Honor X.
