Mysterious Xiaomi smartphone powered by Snapdragon 875 spotted on Geekbench

The popular GeekBench benchmark often becomes a source of information about upcoming smartphones. This time the mysterious Xiaomi device with the code designation M2012K11C “lit up” in the test.

Specified that the device uses a Haydn product as the motherboard. This cipher hides the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. The chip combines one Cortex-X1 core at 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.42 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz.

The benchmark says 6 GB of RAM. Probably, commercial versions of the smartphone will receive more RAM – up to 16 GB. The operating system Android 11 is listed as the software platform.

Observers believe that the designation M2012K11C may be hiding a powerful device Xiaomi Mi 11, which is expected to be announced next year. It will be one of the first devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 875 platform.

We add that the Snapdragon 875, in addition to the specified computing cores, will include the Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and the Snapdragon X60 5G cellular modem, which provides information transfer at speeds up to 7.5 Gbps towards the subscriber.
