Facing a tourist trip to the Moon represents a utopia for now, but we cannot exclude that one day (very far …) it may become one of the many routes that can be traveled without too many difficulties. For now, we know that NASA wants to return us in 2024 with the Artemis program, but we also know that this will represent the first big step towards a more sustainable human presence on our natural satellite. The projects are ambitious, work is being carried out on an orbital station called Gateway capable of continuously connecting the first lunar structures, facilitating exploration missions, and in the future providing the necessary springboard for deep space exploration missions, allowing one day the arrival of man also on Mars.
We can travel a lot with the imagination, and it is on these assumptions that the nice initiative started by NASA and called #NASAMoonKit is based. The idea behind it is very simple and only requires you to ask yourself a simple question. What would you pack for a possible trip to the Moon? NASA is encouraging anyone interested to share a picture of what they would ideally like to bring.
And this is where the aforementioned hashtag comes into play, which can be used on major social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The space agency will evaluate the photos and the most interesting ones will be hosted on its official social accounts.
In case you don’t have ideas but the initiative interests you, NASA has shared a short promotional video that offers some fun insights. We propose it in closing, more details are available in SOURCE.
