Navigator 2GIS spoke with the voices of Nikolai Drozdov, AcademeG, and other celebrities
In the new version of the popular navigator, TV presenter Nikolai Drozdov, video blogger AcademeG, book observer Galina Yuzefovich, journalist, simultaneous translator of films Andrei Gavrilov, and dubbing actor Pyotr Giants became announcers. As a result, 2GIS users can change the navigator’s standard voice acting to the voices of five new heroes.
Guest speakers have replaced some of the standard navigation phrases. In the version from Galina Yuzefovich, a literary metaphor of the path is proposed: the intermediate points of the route became heads, maneuvers – plot twists, the destination – the final. The leitmotif of the voice acting from Nikolai Drozdov was a tropical safari: the roads turn into concrete jungles, and speed limits are compared to a cheetah’s speed. Autoblogger AcademeG will turn the trip into a test drive, and Andrey Gavrilov’s voice will remind you of the video salons of the nineties. In this version of the navigator, instead of the standard warning “Traffic Police Ahead,” users will hear “Los Angeles Police Ahead!” – as in classic Hollywood action films from old videotapes.
In total, the new voice packages of the 2GIS navigator contain about 200 replicas for walking, automobile, and cargo routes. The innovation is available in all countries of presence; activation is enough to enable the Russian language in the application.
