The Threadripper Pro 7975WX has 32 cores and is compared to the 32-core Threadripper 3970X with a similar number of cores.

As you can see, in the available tests, the new product outperforms the old CPU very, very significantly. In the Multi-Media test, the increase is even twofold. True, it is worth remembering that the Threadripper 3970X belongs to the previous generation, and the 5975WX model is relevant, but it is not in the software database.
Of course, SiSoft Sandra’s tests concern different CPU subsystems and sometimes do not correlate at all with the results in ordinary applications. However, in absentia you can expect impressive performance from the new product.
In addition to 32 cores, the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7975WX will have 128 MB of L3 cache and 32 MB of L2 cache. TDP will be 350 W.
New Threadripper CPUs are expected later this year. According to available data, the older model will offer 96 cores.
