New HP Elite Dragonfly laptops can be equipped with 5G module

HP has unveiled the new Elite Dragonfly laptops, aimed primarily at business users, at CES 2021, which this year is held in a fully digital format.

The Elite Dragonfly G2 and Elite Dragonfly MAX models debuted, built on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform: depending on the modification, an eleventh generation Core i3, i5 or i7 processor is used. The volume of LPDDR4 RAM reaches 32 GB. The Elite Dragonfly G2 version is equipped with a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) or 3840 x 2160 (4K) pixels. In the first case, the brightness is 400 or 1000 cd / m 2, in the second – 550 cd / m 2. There is a 1.2-megapixel webcam.

Modification Elite Dragonfly MAX is provided with a 13.3-inch Full HD with brightness 1000 cd / m 2, and a 5-megapixel webcam. In both cases, touch control is supported, and the display cover can be rotated 360 degrees.

Laptops can optionally be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem. In addition, there is a Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter.

Responsible for data storage is an M.2 PCIe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. There are USB 3.1, Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 1.4b interfaces and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. Dimensions are 304 × 198 × 16.1 mm, weight – from 998 g.
