For this they are made two-layer
Specialists at HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, have figured out how to increase the transmittance of backlighting with keyboard caps. They developed two-layer caps, the lower part of which, made of translucent plastic, plays the role of a diffuser.
The upper part of the HyperX Pudding Keyboard caps is formed by double injection moulding, that is, the marking on them is not painted or engraved, but is made of plastic of a different colour, therefore it does not wear out and does not fade. The manufacturer notes that the characters are made in the proprietary HyperX font.
Keycaps are compatible with all HyperX mechanical keyboards and other keyboards with Cherry MX switches. A set of 104 keys costs $ 25. It includes a tool that simplifies cap replacement. Two options are available – with black and white caps and with white and white.
