New mod for the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim finally lets players pet dogs
A new modification for the action role-playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which appeared on the Web a few days ago, has finally introduced the fundamental feature so much demanded by fans – the ability to pet dogs. But other animals cannot be petted yet.
A modification called Pet the Dog – Animations finally allows players to pet any dog found in the game. There are three different animations in the mod – although they are not perfect, they will certainly delight dog lovers.
“After 10 years, we’ve seen all sorts of, um, interesting modifications, but there is one key aspect that has always been lacking, so I implemented it: Dragonborn, take off your iron gauntlets, this is not the time to be fearless. Forget about the Greybeards and the Voice; now your duty is only to rejoice. Yes, you heard right: tell Alduin to postpone the apocalypse, because I am proud to announce: “Yes, you can pet the dog!” – wrote the creator of the modification on NexusMods under the pseudonym JaySerpa.
User JeySerpa also clarified that this modification is part of a larger mod he is working on. The main version will include the ability to pet other animals and many different interactions with objects and NPCs.
You can install this modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim only on PC.
