NFC may appear in the Russian Redmi Note 9 Pro
Xiaomi has introduced a new smartphone in Russia – Redmi Note 9S.
No miracle happened. Xiaomi brought an inexpensive Redmi Note 9S to Russia without NFC, but at a discount for the fastest
On the first day of sales, April 30, Redmi Note 9S will be offered with a replacement for its price with a discount of 27 USD when using the NOTE9S promotional code. The standard price of a model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory will cost 243 USD.
Xiaomi compares the new product with Redmi Note 8 Pro. Among the advantages of Redmi Note 9S, the manufacturer distinguishes an enlarged screen, a fingerprint scanner in the power button, and not on the rear panel, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G single-chip system instead of the MediaTek Helio G90T, and an increased battery capacity. At the same time, it is missed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro at the same price has NFC, a 64 MP camera, and 6 GB of RAM.
Such a comparison is not accidental. The Redmi Note 9S is a complete copy of the Indian Redmi Note 9 Pro. The smartphone received a screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a front camera of 16 megapixels, the main quad-camera of 48 megapixels, a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 system and a battery capacity of 5020 mAh with 18 W charging, as well as splash protection. NFC support is not provided.
The international version of Redmi Note 9S is already sold in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. In a number of European regions, it is presented and should go on sale from May 7.
The launch of the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro is also expected soon. It will become available in Europe and Russia. This model will become more likely an analog of the more expensive Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, as well as receive additional NFC support.
