Diablo II came out over 20 years ago, but some dedicated fans will likely save files. As it turned out, they can be used in the remaster.

When asked by a journalist if buyers of Diablo II: Resurrected will be able to import files from the original game into the re-release, Sidequist replied: “Yes! Yes, save them! “

“When we were working on [the remaster], we wondered if the old save would function. In the end, we shoved [this system] in, and it worked! And we are like: “So, this is the best function in the world,” – said Soderquist.

So if suddenly the user does not want to start the adventure anew or part with the hero that he loved 20 years ago, then Diablo II: Resurrected in this case will come in handy.

Among other things, the Diablo II remaster will offer the ability to synchronize progress (but not crossplay) if you have a Battle.net account and copies of the game on different target platforms.

Diablo II’s release: Resurrected is expected this year on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. On the eve of the premiere, a two-stage alpha test will take place.
