Nothing next month will introduce the Nothing Phone (2) smartphone. It is already known that the new product will move to a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform and become much more powerful than the first generation model, only the price will almost double!
The 256 GB version of Nothing Phone (2) will reportedly be sold in France for 730 euros, while the 512 GB version will be priced at 850 euros! The source names the cost for France, but for sure in other European countries it will be about the same.

Recall that Nothing Phone (1) at the start of sales cost 470 (8/128 GB) and 550 (12/256 GB) euros. What caused such a strong price increase is still difficult to say, but it can hardly be explained only by the transition to a more powerful SoC (Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, although powerful, is no longer top-end and, therefore, far from being as expensive as it was in Last year). Maybe Nothing just wanted to play premium and try on the role of Samsung competitor?
