According to rumors, Nvidia will not insist that graphics card manufacturers use the new 12VHPWR power connector on the RTX 4070 model. But images of non-reference Gigabyte adapters that have leaked on the Web show that at least this manufacturer did not want to get rid of them.
We have four images of different models, and two of them will be equipped with a 12VHPWR connector, while the other two will cost the usual eight-pin connectors.
Earlier there were also rumors that the 12VHPWR connector will be used by manufacturers on the so-called premium versions of the RTX 4070 with higher factory overclocking and power limits. Apparently, images of Gigabyte cards at the same time confirm these data.
Recall that the RTX 4070 will be released on April 13, but today Nvidia itself spoke about this card for the first time.
