NVIDIA CEO: Modern Warfare sales exceed 30 million copies

Activision Blizzard sold over 30 million copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in less than a year. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang told about this after the presentation of new video cards. He also noted that the next part of the series will use the company’s new technologies.

It should be noted that Huang’s statement looks rather vague – he said that in the amount of 30 million copies sold “the last part of the series” This is currently Call of Duty: Warzone, but this is a free battle royale. The last paid release is Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released on October 25, 2019, on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The project received positive reviews from critics and scored 80 points on Metacritic. In March of this year, the developers released the free Warzone battle royale, which was also warmly received by critics.

Activision Blizzard is currently developing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The events of the project will unfold in the 80s – the game will be a direct sequel to the first Black Ops. The release is scheduled for November 13 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
