MSI will have to revoke all cards

Earlier this month, MSI introduced the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Super 3X graphics card , whose name may confuse those who are not very versed in the matter. It looks like Nvidia understood this too and asked MSI to recall all such adapters.

The bottom line is that Nvidia uses the word “Super” to refer to its video card models. Yes, there were no such models in the RTX 30 line at all and probably no longer will be, but this can still confuse buyers. As a result, MSI will need to rename their graphics cards, and for other manufacturers, this will be a good example of what not to do.

Interestingly, MSI simply decided to rename the Suprim line to Super, but, as we can see, did not think through the consequences. It is quite possible that the cards will be renamed back to Suprim.
