To improve the quality of ray tracing
Nvidia has unveiled a new version of its supersampling technology, DLSS 3.5. This is not as impressive an update as DLSS 3 relative to DLSS 2, but it is not just some kind of improvement that is not visible to the average user.

At least with DLSS 3.5, Ray Reconstruction technology will debut. It is responsible for improving the display quality of ray tracing effects. Nvidia itself says that Ray Reconstruction was trained on five times more data than DLSS 3. At the same time, interestingly, Ray Reconstruction technology itself will be available on any RTX video cards, while DLSS 3 itself and its frame generation are supported only by RTX 40 cards .
The first games to support DLSS 3.5 will be Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Alan Wake 2, and the now-released Portal with RTX.
