According to the source, Nvidia plans to respond to next-generation Radeon graphics cards with more memory on its new cards. It allegedly recently unveiled a new release schedule for new models to its graphics card partners.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 card with 12 GB of memory rumored to be released in January
According to this schedule, four models will be released in January: GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3060, RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050. According to rumors, the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti card was originally planned to be released in February, but plans have recently changed.
All four models will be based on the same PG190 PCB, selected from at least four options that have been discussed internally. It is rated for GA104 and GA106 GPUs. The latter will be used in the RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 Ti.
As for the RTX 3060, the PG190 SKU 30 board variant for the RTX 3060 with 6GB of memory running at 14Gbps was recently upgraded to PG190 SKU 40 (6GB and 16Gbps) and last week to PG190 SKU 50 (12GB, 16Gbps).
The stripped-down GA106 GPU (GA106-300) will be used in the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. This card will also have a 192-bit memory bus. It is expected to have 6GB of memory and 3584 CUDA cores.
A stripped-down GA107 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores is selected for the RTX 3050. By means of a 128-bit bus, it will be linked by 4 GB of GDDR6 memory. According to preliminary data, the TDP of this card will be 90 W.
