Nvidia today officially unveiled the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB. In fact, this is still the same GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, but with twice the amount of memory. At the same time, even the level of power consumption in comparison with the version with 8 GB of memory has not changed and is 160 watts.

GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB can be called one of the most controversial models of Nvidia’s new generation of 3D accelerators. Formally, a doubling of memory gives hope for a higher frame rate in games loaded with textures, but at the same time, there is still the same 128-bit bus and the same PCIe Gen4 x8. Accordingly, the memory bandwidth is the same 288 GB / s as the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB.
Another point that attracts attention: for a long time this is the first video card of the line that comes out in an information vacuum – without previously published reviews. Before that, there were rumors that Nvidia partners were somehow not very enthusiastic about the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, perhaps there are no reviews for this reason. The cost of new items – $ 500 in the US and 550 euros in Europe.
