The question remains whether the Honor 30 will receive a periscope “telephoto”.
In a few days, the new flagship smartphones Honor 30 and 30 Pro will be presented. We wrote a lot about them, but the data from different sources is sometimes very different.
Officially: this is what the Honor 30 Pro looks like.
If we talk about the latest rumors, the Honor 30 and 30 Pro will receive 6.57-inch OLED displays, 3900 mAh batteries, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, SoC Kirin 990 or Kirin 985 for the older and younger versions, respectively.
And now we can take a look at the official images of the older model.
What can we learn from them? At least the Honor 30 Pro will definitely get a Quadro camera with a periscope “telephoto”. But this is not interesting. To begin with, let’s recall an early photograph in which the Honor 30 was allegedly captured.
As you can see, the camera modules are very similar, but there is one difference – the flash. And there are two options: either the Honor 30 is really on the old image and it really gets the same periscope “telephoto”, or the old image was unofficial, and its author simply made a little mistake with the flash shape, and it still shows the Honor 30 Pro. In favor of the first version, the moon’s picture appeared on the Web at night, allegedly made for the youngest novelty, and in favor of the second, the latest rumors that only the older one will receive the Sony IMX700 image sensor that the Huawei P40 line has in favor.
If the younger Honor 30 receives a periscope “telephoto”, it will obviously be the cheapest smartphone with a similar camera on the market.
