According to the latest data, the series will be a variant of the Redmi K40 model, built on SoC Snapdragon 870. This SoC is a more powerful variant of Snapdragon 865 with the same configuration but increased frequencies. In the GeekBench test, it outperforms the Snapdragon 865, coming close to the Snapdragon 888.
According to the source, Qualcomm will offer the Snapdragon 870 as the basis for the so-called “pseudo-flagship” smartphones. Such models are expected to appear in the range of Vivo, Oppo, and Sony.
