Smartphones freeze on the lock screen and users can’t do anything about it
A couple of months ago, Samsung announced One UI 3.0 based on Android 11, which introduced new features for Galaxy smartphones. Firmware is currently available for some of the company’s flagships. Beta builds are not recommended for general users, as they often contain bugs and issues.
One UI 3.0 broke the expensive Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2
Samsung began rolling out the beta version of One UI 3.0 for the Galaxy Z Fold2 yesterday. However, the update was stopped because of a critical issue. According to reviews, smartphones freeze on the lock screen, and users can’t do anything about it.
The problem surfaced a few hours after starting the firmware’s distribution with the version number. Users confirm that expensive smartphones have become unusable. Samsung has previously delayed the beta release for the Galaxy Note 10 due to battery and performance issues.
We can only hope that the patched firmware One UI 3.0 for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 will bring broken smartphones back to life.
