It could launch globally as the OnePlus 11R – and soon
It became known that the forthcoming OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone has been certified in China by the Ministry of Industry and Informatization (MIIT). This model should be the successor to the original OnePlus Ace launched last April. Since the device has already passed the certification, it may appear earlier this year than its predecessor, and you won’t have to wait until April. The OnePlus Ace 2 is likely to make its way to the international market as well, but it will be known as the OnePlus 11R there, sources say.
According to the MIIT website, the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone will receive a capacious 5000 mAh battery with support for 100 W fast wired charging. As for the rest of the characteristics of the novelty, at the end of last year they were shared by a reliable insider. They include SoC Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. Also, the smartphone will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16- or 32-megapixel front camera. The OnePlus Ace 2 will run ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box in China, while OxygenOS 13 will run internationally.
