Open, but not empty: the developer of Gotham Knights spoke about filling the game world
Gotham Knights Creative Director Patrick Redding has shared new details on the superhero action game Warner Bros. in an interview with the Official PlayStation Blog. Games in Montreal.
Recall that in Gotham Knights, after Batman’s death, the task of protecting Gotham from villains and criminals is transferred to the Dark Knight’s allies – Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and the Red Hood.
The events of Gotham Knights unfold in a world open from the very beginning of the adventure. As Redding said, the city in the game is divided into five distinctly different districts, in which there are, among other things, iconic locations.
Developers from Warner Bros. Games Montreal wanted to create in Gotham, according to Gotham Knights, “an ever-prosperous ecosystem”: for example, civilians roam the local streets who have their own daily routine (work, shops, etc.).
In this case, the city will have to hunt not only directly for the bandits, but also for evidence. To track down this or that villain may take several game nights, as well as “a certain amount of running around and detective work. “
In addition to the single-player mode, co-op is available in Gotham Knights (only for two people). Each of the heroes has its own set of skills for pumping and a unique fighting style.
The release of Gotham Knights is expected in 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Despite all the attributes, the game-service is a new creation of Warner Bros. Games Montreal, according to producer Fleur Marty, is not.
