Operation Cold Blood begins in Insurgency: Sandstorm: Snow Map, Weapons, and More
The developers of the competitive shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm continue to develop their project. Update 1.9 “Cold Blood” has been released – it brought a new map, weapons, cosmetics, and much more. On this occasion, New World Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have released a fresh trailer.
The new winter Bab card is available to users. The action takes place in a snow-covered mountain village built around an ancient citadel. The map is ideal for snipers due to its wide view and open area. But there are also narrow lanes for intense close-range combat.
In terms of weapons, snipers now have two new high-caliber semi-automatic battle rifles: the M110 SASS for one side of the conflict and the M1 Garand for the other. As usual in Sandstorm, they support a wide variety of attachments and scopes so that each player can customize their arsenal to suit their preferences.
This update includes a number of other tweaks and additions, including switchable scopes and tons of free cosmetics to unlock. In addition, the developers have introduced four new sets of visual decorations in the theme of “Cold Blood” – those who wish to support the development can do so by purchasing DLC.
Also, on the occasion of the release of the update, the game is available on Steam until December 14 with a 50% discount – for 499 ₽. Insurgency: Sandstorm was released on PC in December 2018. She has nearly 48,000 reviews on Steam, 84% of which are positive. When the delayed launch will take place on consoles, is still not specified.
