IEEE is the largest technical association in the world, with more than 400 thousand representatives in 160 countries and occupying authoritative positions in the fields of aerospace and communication technologies, computer engineering, bioengineering, electrics, consumer electronics. The organization also holds conferences, develops technological standards and organizes international professional and educational events.

“More recently, the IEEE computer community has launched a new corporate collaboration program, and we are pleased to welcome Oppo as our first partner,” said Melissa Russell, Executive Director of the IEEE Computer Society.

IEEE committees form the most important technology standards, including a series of metrics for IEEE 802.11 wireless networks. Oppo, with its many in-house developments, will participate in the IEEE committees to contribute to the creation of new international standards.

Today, scientific journals and conferences conducted by IEEE are an effective platform for scientific exchange, so it is important for the company to participate in such events, according to Oppo. The company plans to present to the world engineering community its own achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as in the field of communication and hardware technologies.
