Oppo Smart Tag search tracker appeared on live photos
On Tuesday, Apple unveiled its AirTag tracker for finding things, which boasts ultra-wideband support, which helps it track its location very accurately. Even earlier, Samsung introduced a similar device called Galaxy Smart Tag Plus. Apparently, very soon, a similar product will be presented by the Chinese Oppo.
Today, the tracker, which will reportedly be called the Oppo Smart Tag, appeared in live photos. Judging by the pictures, it will have a huge advantage over Samsung and Apple products. You can find a USB-C connector at the end of the device, which indicates that the device will have a rechargeable battery. Samsung and Apple products use replaceable batteries, which makes them less environmentally friendly.
The inscription on the tracker’s body indicates that it, like its main competitors, will offer support for ultra-wideband communications, which will help determine the exact location of the tracker.
The Oppo Smart Tag is expected to be unveiled on May 6 in China alongside products such as the new Oppo Smart TV, Enco Air Wireless Headphones, Oppo Band Fitness Tracker, and Oppo K9 smartphone.
