OPPO smartphone with sub-screen camera spotted in wildlife
Internet sources have published a “live” photo of a working prototype of the OPPO smartphone, which has a front camera located directly behind the display.
As you can see in the photo, the device is equipped with a screen that folds onto the sides of the case. The width of the top and bottom bezels are kept to a minimum. The panel has no cutout or hole.
Unfortunately, the technical characteristics of the device are not provided. It is only noted that the novelty will receive a multi-module main camera, enclosed in a round block. It can include four optical components with image sensors and a flash.
In one of the side parts of the smartphone, there are physical control buttons. Below is an asymmetrical USB Type-C port.
In general, the device captured in the photo looks very attractive. Most likely, the commercial version of such a device will be released only next year.
We add that the world’s first smartphone with a sub-screen camera, which went on sale, was the ZTE Axon 20 5G. The characteristics of this device can be found in our material.
