When folded, the novelty looks like a regular monoblock device. If necessary, the owner can stretch the device, transforming it into a small tablet computer.

It is noted that in the process of working on the new product, OPPO has applied for 122 patents. In particular, the unique Roll Motor mechanism with two electric motors is used, which ensures uniform stretching of the device without the risk of damaging the flexible screen. Moreover, the user can pull the display to the desired length, due to which intermediate modes of operation between the two extreme states can be realized.

The flexible panel is made using OLED technology. A special 2-in-1 Plate structure is used to maintain it, and the proprietary Warp Track technology increases strength.

When folded, the screen measures 6.7 inches diagonally, and when unfolded it measures 7.4 inches. Using a roll-to-roll pattern eliminates the fold line. Alas, nothing has been reported about the timing of the release of the new item on the commercial market.
