Out of Line is a beautiful platformer about life lessons coming to PC and Switch this summer
Hating Interactive and Nerd Monkeys have announced that the Out Line puzzle platformer will release on PC and Nintendo Switch this summer and later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game itself was announced for the PlayStation 4 in 2018 and won the Sony Portuguese division for Best Game.
Out of Line follows the adventures of a boy named Sun, who is trapped in a factory controlled by a sinister and strange entity. Along the way, the hero will have to rely on new friends and a spear (which the character perceives as a tool, not a weapon) to overcome many obstacles and learn one of life’s greatest lessons. The game is a 2D puzzle platformer with a side view.
Each new level and discovery will bring the player closer to solving the mystery of the true plot of Out of Line and will put additional meaning in-game mechanics and puzzles, the developers said. Nerd Monkeys will tell the story not with text or voice acting but through the environment – it is the player’s curiosity to explore and interact with the world to help understand everything.
