British charts: Cyberpunk 2077 reached the top 10 for the first time since December

Analyst firm GfK has shared information on sales of retail editions of games in the UK from 11 to 17 April this year. The week marked the return of Cyberpunk 2077 to the top ten.

As a reminder, the ambitious action RPG CD Projekt RED started in the UK retail for health: first place in the week of release and second in starting sales for 2020.

Then things went much worse: the third line in a week, the eighth in two, and dropping out of the top 10 in three. Thus, by early 2021, Cyberpunk 2077 was no longer among the chart leaders.

However, three and a half months later, Cyberpunk 2077 found the strength to climb to the ninth position. Probably, the rise of the game contributed to the numerous discounts on console versions.

As for the battle for the top spot, this time, the victory went to the football simulator FIFA 21, which overtook the victorious last week in the person of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Except for the already mentioned Cyberpunk 2077, the top ten in terms of content remained unchanged. A similar picture is at the bottom of the rating: the reporting period passed without any noticeable releases.
