Palit returns to the production of JetStream video cards. More than two years after the release of the GeForce RTX 3070 JetStream, the company introduced the GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti JetStream. These models differ from analogues in the absence of RGB backlighting.
At one time, manufacturers of various hardware were so carried away by the introduction of backlighting into everything that is possible that now its absence is already perceived as a “trick”. On the other hand, the frequencies here are completely standard, and from this point of view, the lack of backlight is more of a savings factor.
Palit GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti JetStream graphics cards unveiled
Video cards look almost the same – and quite modestly. However, they are long – 329 mm (after all, there are three fans) and rather thick (they take up 3.1 slots). It is possible that dual-fan models will also appear in the JetStream series, but already based on the GeForce RTX 4070 or GeForce RTX 4060. The cost of new products has not yet been announced.
