Huawei top manager denies rumors – discontinuation would be premature
A series of flagship smartphones, Huawei Mate 40, debuted in October, and now many of the versions are in short supply and appear as sold out in online stores. There was even a message on the network that Huawei had already stopped producing the oldest model, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro +.
Panic aside. Huawei Mate 40 Pro + production has not stopped.
Fortunately, the rumor turned out to be false. It was denied by Bruce Lee, head of Huawei’s mobile division and vice president of the mobile phone product line.
On the Chinese social network Weibo, the top manager urged users not to believe the rumors and explained that it is too early to stop producing the Mate 40 Pro +, which debuted in October.
Note that only the Huawei Mate 40 Pro model is officially sold in Russia. The Huawei online store is now offered for 11000 dollars.
