Recall that the half-hour segment preceding the main ceremony will offer five world premieres (one of which will be a new trailer for the modernized NieR Replicant) and a performance by a previously unknown artist.

As Kayleigh announced, Lyn Inaizumi, whose vocals can be heard on the soundtrack of Persona 5 , Persona 5 Strikers and other offshoots, was hiding behind the mask of the mysterious artist  .

It is currently unknown which song from the extensive soundtracks of the Persona series will be performed by Inaizumi as part of The Game Awards 2020 pre-show.

Siliconera reporters speculate that it may be about the Persona 5 Strikers’ title theme, You are Stronger. It sounds in the intro of at least the Japanese version of the game (attached below).

Persona 5 Strikers was officially released on December 8 , but the announcement was preceded by a large-scale leak , due to which the content of the announcement became known in advance. The game will be released on February 23, 2021 on PC (Steam), PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

The Game Awards 2020 pre-show will begin streaming on December 11 at 2:30 am ET. Half an hour later, the main program starts, within which a dozen announcements and an award ceremony for the best games of the year are expected .
