Petition asking to give a chance to sequel Days Gone has collected almost 50 thousand signatures and received support from the director of the game

A petition to Sony Interactive Entertainment has begun to gain popularity on Change.org, asking Sony Interactive Entertainment to approve the development of a sequel to the zombie biker action Days Gone.

Recall that in his recent material, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier revealed that the Japanese platform-holder rejected the idea of a sequel to Days Gone: the development of the original game was problematic, and the reaction of critics was mixed.

Schreier’s report did not leave the players on the sidelines: a particularly caring fan named Kanhai Raval decided to clothe fan dissatisfaction in a petition format, and the initiative is even popular.

By the time the material was published, the petition “Make Sony PlayStation Approve Days Gone 2” had already collected over 47 thousand signatures and confidently approached the next major mark – 50 thousand.

“Millions of people want Sony PlayStation to approve Days Gone 2. And I want all fans to sign this petition. You can’t give up on such a delightful game that ended on a cliffhanger, ” Raval wrote to Sony.

Project director Jeff Ross backed this weekend’s fan initiative: “Hell, I can’t believe this Days Gone petition is fast approaching the Signature Leader on Change.org. Hop aboard and help her get past the 25,000 marks! “

The original Days Gone was released in April 2019 on PS4 and will reach PC (Steam, EGS) on May 18 of this year. According to the same Ross, the sequel could have a common “universe with a cooperative” for all players.
