The younger Pixel 8 does not yet suffer from this problem
As you know, the best screens on the smartphone market are now installed on the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8, according to research by DxoMark. However, as it turned out, at least the older Google model has certain problems with this very screen.
Pixel 8 Pro owners complain about pink text in AOD mode
Some Pixel 8 Pro owners have encountered the fact that the text displayed on the smartphone screen in Always-On Display mode is pink. Of course, it wasn’t intended that way—we’re talking about the problem.
Interestingly, the problem does not affect the entire screen, but only part of it. Most often it appears in the upper corners. There is no such problem with the regular Pixel 8 yet.
Google has not yet responded to the relevant complaints, so it is not yet clear what the nature of the problem is and whether it can be fixed.
