Platinum Games: Bayonetta 3 Development ‘Going Very Well’
Bayonetta 3 was announced back in late 2017 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Since then, there has been little news about the game, but back in May 2020, Platinum Games Senior Vice President Hideki Kamiya reassured all fans of the series. He stated that the third party has not been cancelled, but now spoke about the progress in its production. According to the manager, the development is “going very well. “
Kamiya gave the corresponding comment to the Japanese magazine Famitsu (translated by Gematsu ): “Firstly, many people are worried about the fate of Bayonetta 3, given that there has been no fresh information since the announcement. But the testing of new [game] systems is going well, and development is progressing very well. Secondly, [production] Project GG has started to move, so look forward to the project. “
When some more specific news about the two mentioned games came out, Hideki Kamiya did not tell. Perhaps Platinum Games will share the details in 2021.
