Players have encountered a problem transferring progress from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3, but the developers are already working on a fix

One of the highly publicized features of Hitman 3 was the ability to carry over most of the progress from Hitman 2. Unfortunately, the transfer process on the dedicated site is currently not working due to the high load – IO Interactive is already busy with this issue.

As the studio itself said on Twitter, the IOI Account service site “crashed” due to the influx of players at the launch of Hitman 3: “We are working hard to get the IOI Account operational to ensure the transfer of progress. We will let you know when [the portal] is operational again. Please press F5 on Twitter instead of our website. We want to fix everything as much as you do. Thank you!”

The function of transferring the content of the previous two parts in Hitman 3 reminds of itself more than once. Previously, gamers had concerns that owners of Hitman 3 on PC would have to re-purchase Hitman 2 to access locations and transfer profile achievements. IO Interactive later announced that it was working with Epic Games to address the issue.

Recall that Hitman 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. With the support of its handler, Agent 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Gray. They go on an adventure around the world to destroy their most important enemies. The game has six well-developed locations that provide room for creative killings.

Hitman 3 is out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch (cloud version).
