Players noticed a message on Origin that Battlefield V will expire on January 1, 2021
A Reddit user under the pseudonym Raskoolish spoke about a strange message that he noticed on the Origin digital distribution service. On the icon to launch Battlefield V player I discovered the phrase: “[Access] expires on January 1, 2021”.
What is the reason for the appearance of such a message is currently unknown. This warning was first spotted by his Facebook friend, Raskoolish says. And later it appeared from the author of the post on Reddit.
Perhaps there was some kind of crash in Origin, as a result of which there was a message about the imminent denial of access to the game. Option two: Electronic Arts has decided to revoke Battlefield V press copies received by journalists, bloggers, and individual users. No official statements have been received in this regard. However, players have not yet written about the appearance of the warning in large quantities, so the second version should not be discarded.
Recall: in June 2020, DICE studio stopped content support for Battlefield V, causing discontent among fans of the project. Now the developers are creating the sixth part of the series.
