The LG Velvet smartphone, released in May 2020, is starting to receive a stable update of the Android 11 operating system. The update is distributed as part of the firmware under the number V20c, its size is about 2.3 GB.

The LG Velvet update to Android 11 also includes the LG UX 10 UI and the January 2021 Android security patch. The first country where the update was released was South Korea, but soon the firmware will appear in other regions of the world.

The LG UX 10 skin offers a redesigned always-on display, new desktop icons, a new and improved dark mode, new live wallpapers, improved privacy, a new notification bar, and more. The firmware also improves the overall system performance.

The LG Velvet is equipped with a 6.8-inch POLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC, 6/8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal flash memory. The smartphone also has a microSD card slot.
