In recent weeks, companies such as Intel, AMD, Samsung Display, and Sony, among others, have received US government approval to resume doing business with Huawei. This is an important development for the Chinese company, which currently continues to explore options for keeping its business afloat following the systematic expansion of US government sanctions.

More than 300 companies have reportedly applied for a special license from the US government to continue doing business with Huawei. Approximately a third of the companies have received approval from the authorities and can already resume cooperation with the Chinese manufacturer.

It is also known that the US allows the supply of components for Huawei if they are not used in the company’s 5G business. In addition to Qualcomm, South Korean Samsung Electronics and other companies are currently awaiting licenses from the US government.
