Radeon RX 6800 XT beats GeForce RTX 3090 in Ashes of the Singularity at 4K

The notorious Twitter user under the pseudonym Tum_Apisak in the benchmark database of the game Ashes of the Singularity found the results of testing the performance of the graphics accelerator Radeon RX 6800 XT. The video card was tested as part of a system based on Intel Core i7-8700K and 32 GB of RAM.

The accelerator was tested at two resolutions – 1080p and 4K, with the same “Crazy” image quality settings. In the first case, the Radeon RX 6800 XT scored 10 100 points, showing an average result of 102 fps.

The source also provided a comparison of the results of the AMD video card with those of the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 models. The maximum gap in favor of the NVIDIA flagship was only 600 points. At the same time, the Radeon RX 6800 XT showed performance 1100 points higher than the GeForce RTX 3070.

In the 4K gaming test, the performance results were quite interesting. The Radeon RX 6800 XT scored 9200 points, the flagship GeForce RTX 3090 is 500 points less. By the way, the latter also gave way to the less productive and cheaper GeForce RTX 3080 – the difference was 100 points.

The recommended price for AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is $ 649. The video card is based on GPU Navi 21 XT with 4608 stream processors and is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory. The reference versions of the Radeon RX 6800 series graphics cards will go on sale on November 18.
