Approximately 40% more expensive than the official cost for the US market
A Radeon RX 7900 XTX video card was found in the French Amazon catalog – three days before the official start of sales. Most importantly, the price is indicated: 1319 euros. Compared to the official price for the US market, this cost is almost 40% higher.
However, Europe is not the US. Due to high taxes, devices are usually more expensive in the Old World. Moreover, lately manufacturers have increased the cost of their products in Europe, explaining this by inflation. So it’s not surprising that the Radeon RX 7900 XTX is more expensive in Europe than in the US, the question is how much more it will be offered at the official price, because it is only announced for the US so far.
While such a Radeon RX 7900 XTX (by the way, the manufacturer is Sapphire) is offered on a pre-order basis, delivery is not earlier than December 19th. Earlier, we recall, it was reported that only 10,000 reference video cards will be allocated to the entire huge EMEA region (it includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa) by the start of sales . So it is possible that all of them will be sold on pre-order.
As for the price comparison with a direct competitor in the face of the GeForce RTX 4080, then there is almost parity: the Nvidia model is only slightly more expensive.
