Realme X7 smartphone on Dimensity 800U processor impresses with results in AnTuTu

As you know, smartphones Realme X7 and X7 Pro will be presented on September 1. There were even rumors that there was supposedly a third special version of the device, equipped with an as-yet-unannounced Snapdragon 860 chipset. The closer the official announcement, the more information appears about new products. Today, for example, the results of testing the performance of the Realme X7 in the synthetic AnTuTu test were published.

According to the latest information, the older version of Realme X7 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, and the standard version of the device uses a less powerful Dimensity 800U chip, designed for smartphones in the middle price segment.

Images of the performance results of the Realme X7 model in the AnTuTu test were published on the Web, where the smartphone scored just over 340,000 points. For the average peer, this result is quite good. For comparison, this is the performance level of the once-flagship Snapdragon 845, which was used in the same OnePlus 6 released in 2018. In the comparison table, Realme X7 (model number RMX2176) is more powerful than OPPO Reno 4 5G based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and Reno 3 based on Helio P90 chipset.

Recall that Dimensity 800U is a fresh single-chip platform from MediaTek based on a 7 nm process technology, using eight computing cores. Two large ARM Cortex-A76s operate at 2.4 GHz, six energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A55s operate at 2.0 GHz. The chipset also includes the Mali-G57 graphics accelerator.

According to the latest rumors, the Realme X7 will be a very thin and light device. It weighs just 175 grams, making it the lightest 5G smartphone from Realme.
