Release date and main features of the Ajax & Diomedes add-on for Total War Saga: Troy
Creative Assembly and SEGA published a trailer for the Ajax & Diomedes add-on for Total War Saga: Troy, and also talked about its main features. As you might guess from the name, the supplement is dedicated to two characters – Ajax and Diomedes. Users will be able to go through the storyline campaign for these heroes who rule their own states.
In addition to new generals, the expansion will bring other content to Total War Saga: Troy. The list includes 18 types of units, two new battle tactics – powerful defensive lines and rapid attacks from the flanks – and the city of Thebes, which can be destroyed in the process, as the ancient Greek myths say. Separately, it is worth noting a special event with an interesting scenario: playing as the Greeks, users will be able to take part in the theft of the statue of Athena from Troy in order to weaken the city’s defences.
Ajax & Diomedes will be released on January 28, 2021, on the Epic Games Store. Together with the add-on, the project will receive a free update with the god Hephaestus, whose prayers will give unique bonuses.
