In their address regarding the announcement, the developers explained that the extra time would allow the teams to release a remake that is “fresh while remaining true to the original’s spirit. “

Recall that the first and so far the only demonstration of the updated Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was harshly criticized due to the controversial visual component. However, the developers themselves denied problems with graphics.

Modernized Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is being created for PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, and Xbox One. The remake will run in backward compatibility mode on current-generation consoles.
