ASUS ExpertBook B9 is the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop
The ASUS family of business-class notebooks has expanded with the ExpertBook B9, which is enclosed in a magnesium-lithium alloy case and meets the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810G.
The developer calls the novelty the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop: it weighs only 880 grams. Includes a handy accessory box that can also be used as an ergonomic laptop stand.
The “heart” of the novelty is the eleventh generation Intel Core i7 processor (Tiger Lake family) with integrated Iris X e graphics. The screen has a Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), a maximum brightness of 400 cd / m 2, and a 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.
The volume of LPDDR4x-4266 RAM reaches 32 GB. Two SSDs can be combined into a RAID0 or RAID1 array. The Wi-Fi 6 controller and Thunderbolt 4 interface are mentioned.
The technology of intelligent noise cancellation in the microphone is implemented, which filters out extraneous noise, leaving only a crystal clear user’s voice, and the ASUS WiFi Master technology contributes to the high quality of the network connection.
The ExpertBook B9 portable computer will be on sale in November: the price will start at 1799 euros.
